Who is you captain?

Salah makes a great choice this gameweek, playing at home against Everton.

However, if you are chasing rank, it makes more sense to gamble it on a player with 2 matches.

We recommend Kai Havertz, playing upfront and listed as a midfielder. He scored 6 of his 7 goals in the last 6 gameweeks and is the form player of the Chelsea side, albeit an inconsistent Chelsea side.

I am going to go for Kai Havertz. He has a DGW and he got a rest midweek against Arsenal, so with games against West Ham who will have 1 eye on Europa League semi final and an out of sorts Man Utd, I feel Havertz could haul big.

It’s tough again for captaincy and if I was 100% sure what I was doing with my team, I would be able to provide a solid answer.

Mo Salah was the correct captaincy decision (for non-Ronaldo owners) despite his single gameweek which creates a conundrum for those investing in double gameweek players.

Something deep within me always needs to back a doubler with captaincy even though it very nearly backfired with my Saka shout this week.

So, for me, it probably has to be a Chelsea asset and, if you were to make me choose one, I would go for Kai Havertz as I believe he has the highest ceiling.

If you learnt anything from GW9’s epic Salah vs Havertz captaincy swing that we know it will be foolhardy to not back the Egyptian.

Salah will be keen to perform as Liverpool keep up the title chase by winning their Merseyside Derby against a relegation-threatened Everton.

For those backing Chelsea assets, it’s Mason Mount and Kai Havertz that stand out as the pick of the litter!

It’s Mo Salah versus the Chelsea boys this gameweek , and while Salah might be back to his best, it’s really hard to overlook double gameweek players – Mason Mount is who I’ve got so I’d be captaining him but if you got Havertz, then he’s a much better captain pick.

In terms of captaincy this week, it has to be Salah for me. It’s Derby day at home to Everton, and Liverpool have to win every game to stand a chance of the title. What more do I have to say

A really tough call to make for the captaincy armband this GW with Ronaldo, Salah and Chelsea assets all being in contention.

However, I’m going to back a differential captain in Joao Cancelo who is playing Watford at Etihad. Manchester City surely can’t afford a bad performance for the remainder of the games due to title race being wide open and hence, we can witness some great play from them.

Talking about Cancelo, he has scored a total of 179 points thanks to 1 goal, 9 assists and 17 clean-sheets. So let’s back this City defender and keep our fingers crossed •_•
