FPL GW30 Captain

Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea blanks this week. Burnley have a double, so will our panel go all out for a Claret?

Kane is second on xG (4.84) only behind Salah over the last 6 GWs. He also takes all penalties for Spurs, a statistic that will stand out against Leicester- the team to have conceded the second most number of penalties (7) to date.

He also has a fairly decent record against West Ham – scoring 4 times over his last 5 meetings against Spurs London rivals. West Ham, on the other hand, has only kept 2 clean sheets in their last 11 games.

To add to that, the Hammers played out 120 mins against Sevilla in the Europa League on Thursday. Fatigue will be a huge issue for them.

Harry Kane, no other options stands out. Against a West Ham team who will have played in Europe on Thursday, Kane could benefit against tired players. On form and looking like his old self, would be a brave manager to bet against him.

First of all, it is nice for us to have to make a decision with Salah not being an option this week.

For me I am going Harry Kane this week. 7 goals in his last 6 matches, he seems to have picked up his form that we were all expecting at the start of the season. I back him to continue his run at home to West Ham.

Kane has blanked only once in last 6 scoring 7 goals. I will be surely captaining him.
If you want to pick a differential, Jimenez is the one against a defensively poor Leeds side.

It took a while but he’s back in form. It is difficult to look past Harry Kane this week. If you don’t have him, find a way to bring him in. If you have him, give him the armband. If for whatever reason, you cannot fit Harry Kane into your team then I think Dejan Kulusevski could be a half-decent alternative

Harry Kane is in red hot form as he has amassed 7 goals and 1 assist in the last 6 PL games. He is the logical choice in a heavily diminished BGW with just 4 fixtures in total. Kane has an envious record against West Ham where he has scored 8 goals in his last 6 home PL matches. I back Kane to continue his red hot form against his favourite rivals, the Hammers, at his home turf.

Harry Kane should be your gameweek 30 captain. The Spurs man has been in good form in recent gameweeks- he has picked up 40 points in his last five games scoring five goals and assisting one in that period.

He is currently is the most in form player in the game. If there’s anything we know about Harry Kane is that he’s a lethal finisher and when he’s on form there’s no stopping him.

There really is no better option in blank gameweek 30 and for these reasons we’d be giving him the armband.

A West Ham side who went 120min with their first choice XI. A striker back to his very best and nailed for 90 min. Captaincy calls don’t get much easier than this. It’s gotta be Kane.
