This GW, picking Salah as the captain would be a prudent and defensive move.

Expect a huge (maybe >200%) effective ownership on the Egyptian, who scored in the midweek in the UCL.

With Jota now out, the case for Salah is ever stronger. The only slight worry is that Salah may be given some minutes off as Liverpool have a run of a few critical games this 2-3 weeks.

Mo Salah, against Norwich and Leeds both at home : It’s that simple. Salah has been just phenomenal this season scoring 16 goals and 9 assists. However, if you want to complicate things a bit or want to risk your luck, Trent Alexander Arnold is not a bad captaincy choice either. He has been highly impressive scoring 2 and assisting 10 goals.

It’s Mo Salah at home to Leeds and Norwich. This is the best triple captaincy opportunity that we will ever have. He scored 24 pts in 1 game v Man United. Would you really be surprised if he scored 40+ against Leeds (lost 3-0 to Everton last week) and Norwich? Easy decision

Alexander-Arnold gets my armband ahead of Liverpool’s DGW at home to both Norwich & Leeds.

This may seem a rather maverick move, but is definitely a high risk, high reward strategy going against the Salah grain. For me TAA will play both matches and offers returns at both ends of the field.

Salah is the safest option. But the more you think about it, the more confusing it gets because of the fixture congestion and the rotation risk that comes with it.

While the upside to C TAA/Mane/Robbo/VVD is huge, the type of EO Salah will have can be devastating. This is a very tricky gameweek where I am still torn between TC and BB. It is going down to the last minute.

I already feel like I am rolling the dice by not playing my TC and am too risk averse to bet against Salah. So, this will be one of those rare (and annoying) occasions where I give Salah the armband but hope he doesn’t do too well.

Before the midweek games, I had thought about using the bench boost chip. However, with the injuries to Jota and Weghorst, I am now sure that the TC chip would be of better use this week. Ideally the TC would land on one of the 3 Liverpool players.

As such, Salah is the best option for the TC. Even if he starts only one of the games, you could ideally see him scoring 2-3 goals against the likes of Norwich and Leeds.

Salah will be my Triple Captain this week against an obliging Norwich and Leeds. The downside of not putting the armband on Salah can be season-ending with the thermospheric effective ownership that the Egyptian will have.
