Brentford have lost 4 games in a row and City would be ready to take them on in the Eithad.
A few Man City players make good captain picks but De Bruyne makes the best pick. The Belgian has 4 goals and 2 assists in his last 6 games, consistently returning.

Brentford have conceded eight times from corner situations this season — only Crystal Palace and Leicester City have a worse record (9). Also conceded 2 goals from corners v Everton in the Cup. They have lost their last five straight matches in all competitions and conceded 16 goals in that time.

I’m going with a differential captaincy choice in GW24 and he’s going to be Conor Gallagher.
Gallagher is up against Norwich, a team which has been one of the worst in defense this season. He has scored 7 goals and has provided 3 assists with xG/90 of 0.35 and xA/90 of 0.22 with 2.37 Sh/90.

De Bruyne takes the captaincy for me this gameweek. 4 goals and 2 assists in his last 7 appearances. He faces a Brentford side who has conceded 23 goals in their last 8 away games.

Alexander-Arnold for me. Liverpool are playing against a Leicester side that were just beaten 4-1 for Championship side Nottingham Forest and with Trent’s ability to score points at both ends of the pitch, he gets my armband this week.

The ideal Captain candidate for this GW is De Bruyne or Mahrez but unfortunately I don’t own any of them. Kane and Son are decent options against the Saints too. Bruno and CR7 face Burnley but Burnley has looked solid lately and have kept a CS in last 2.
Personally for my team, it is a close call between Bowen and Jota. I am inclined more towards Bowenbecause of the fact that he has blanked only once in the last 6 games and they face Watford who conceded 3 goals against Norwich last GW.

We are spoiled for choice as regards captaincy this gameweek and this is always an exciting juncture in any season; where big rank swings can occur as a result of these decisions.
I think I am going to be a bit different and put the armband on Phil Foden this week. With ownership of less than 8%, he could be a great differential shout, with a home fixture against Brentford (who have looked poor at the back of late). Foden bagged 11 points in the reverse fixture and he could potentially bag even more with the home advantage.
I may switch this last minute to Cancelo, who also has the advantage of offering CS points, with Brentford’s recent attacking numbers having dried up.

My captaincy recommendations for this week are KDB, Jota, TAA, and Cancelo. I personally believe that Alexander-Arnold has the highest upside of the lot with a rich history of bonus points and double-digit returns.

Cancelo and Kdb are the outstanding picks for this week. Although Salah is back and there’s always that option of TAA too at home, I believe the man City assets will be the one to deliver this week. I’m going for De Bruyne. Easy pick with his current form.
