FPL GW22 Free Hit
Jose Sá (£5.1 | WOL) : Sá has been absolutely sensational this season and has won many games for Wolves with his saves.
He has kept 8 clean-sheets with only 14 goals conceded in 19 games with 59 saves.
He has scored a total of 88 points and is only owned by 5% managers. He will be facing Southampton at home in GW22 and can be a great FH pick.
Robert Sánchez (£4.6 | BHA) : Sanchez has also done really good work this season and is priced at only £4.6 with less than 19% ownership. He has kept 6 clean-sheets in 19 games with 18 conceded goals and has saved 53 shots.
He has got a mixed sort of DGW – against Palace and Chelsea, both at home. Both these teams have got some good number of attacking stats, and hence, Sanchez wouldn’t be my starting GK.
Trent-Alexander Arnold (£8.4 | LIV) : The Liverpool defender has been phenomenal this whole season, gathering 132 points which came off the back of 2 goals, 9 assists and 9 clean-sheets in 18 games, where he has rightly collected 27 bonus points. He is owned by more than 44% managers and can play a more attacking role for Liverpool in absence of Salah and Mane. He’s surely a must-have for GW22 against Brentford at Anfield.
Virgil Van Dijk (£6.6 | LIV) : Another Liverpool defender who has been doing consistently great this season. Virgil has scored a total of 86 points with the help of 1 goal, 1 assist and 10 clean-sheets in 18 games with 8 bonus points. He is owned by 15% of managers and like TAA, can make a great impact this GW.
Marc Cucurella (£5.1 | BHA) : Brighton are having a DGW in GW22 and that’s what making me buy him. He’s the most nailed-on player of the Brighton side and has kept 6 clean-sheets with 1 assist in 19 games which makes him score a total of 65 points. He’s surely a great differential to own for this GW.
Antonio Rüdiger (£6.2 | CHE) : Rüdiger has quietly been making a huge impact this season and in the absence of Reece James, can be the most effective defender for Chelsea who has also got a good attacking mindset. 2 goals, 3 assists and 8 clean-sheets in 21 games has been the story so far for Rudiger and there isn’t a better time to maximize it then this DGW for Chelsea. Rudiger is currently picked by 25% of managers and that number is steadily going to increase as the deadline comes closer.
Brandon Williams (£3.9 | NOR) : Williams is gonna be my bench-fodder for GW22 as he’s one of the cheapest players right now.
Diogo Jota (£8.3 | LIV) : The third Liverpool player in my team is going to be Jota. He’s been doing exceptionally well and now in the absence of Salah and Mane, will run the show for Liverpool. He has gathered 101 points this season and is owned by no less than 33% managers. 10 goals and 2 assists so far from him in 17 games and moreover, will be taking penalties for Liverpool too.
Youri Tielemans (£6.4 | LEI) : The Leicester midfielder is going to have a DGW22 against Burnley and Spurs, both the teams which struggle in defense. Hence, he can be a valuable pick. What acts as cherry on top of cake, is the fact that all of Leicester’s premium forwards are out injured and Tielemans has become a consistent threat. 5 goals and 2 assists in 14 games bags him 70 points.
Leandro Trossard (£6.1 | BHA) : The Seagulls are having a DGW22 and Trossard can be the danger Man from the team. Owned by less than 2% of managers, makes him even more important. 4 goals and 1 assist in 19 games for him as he’s yet to find a magic game and I’m expecting this GW to be that time.
James Maddison (£6.9 | LEI) : Maddinson is another Leicester midfielder who finds his place in my FH draft. He’s produced some memorable GWs this season and will continue to make an impact. 5 goals and 5 assists in 15 games from him, as he moves to a total of 82 points so far. He’s owned by 10% of managers and can be a good differential to own.
Mason Mount (£7.7 | CHE) : Mount has been doing phenomenal this season. 7 goals and 6 assists in 14 games from him as he is on the verge of completing 100 points. He’s gonna have a DGW22 but still, I will bench him. Now why do I bench him? He’s playing Manchester City and Brighton this GW and both teams have great defense and hence, he won’t get too many scoring opportunities. Then why have I bought such a high-priced bench fodder? The reason is, there are some rumors that TAA won’t play this GW due to Covid. In case the rumors are true, Mount will be my 1st sub and will come on for TAA.
Joshua King (£5.8 | WAT) : King has been doing well this season for Watford and his underlying numbers are so-so-brilliant that I couldn’t resist myself buying him. 5 goals and 4 assists in 16 games for him with an xG/90 of 0.45 and xA/90 of 0.16 with 2.57 Sh/90.
Emmanuel Dennis (£6.1 | WAT) : A Watford double-up in a DGW against two of the weakest defenses this season, Newcastle and Burnley doesn’t seem too bad. Dennis has been by far the best striker this season with 8 goals and 6 assists in 17 games. He’s owned by more than 38% managers and going against him can prove to be a costly decision.
Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.5 | MUN) : The modern day great CR7 caps off my team. 8 goals and 3 assists in 16 games for him so far. A DGW against Aston Villa and Brentford doesn’t look too bad either.
