Salah. Again. And again. And again. Until the Africa Cup Of Nations means he is absent and we all need to think about who to captain for once…

With attacking returns in 13 out of 14 GWs, Mo Salah is making a strong case for the perma-captain with his unprecedentedly incisive form.

Whilst he has only 2 goals and 2 assists in 7 Premier League games against Wolves in the past, he just proved that historical form isn’t a hindrance this season with a brace in the Merseyside Derby, wherein he only had 2 goals in 5 games prior.

Spurs (vs. Norwich) and Man City (vs. Watford) might have tempting captaincy distractions in Kane, Son, and Bernardo Silva, but I strongly recommend keeping your faith and the armband squarely on the Egyptian.

You do not want to bet against Salah’s league-topping 13 goals and 8 assists and consistent 195+% effective ownership.

Our favorite captain for the season so far, Salah, continues to deliver week in week out.

If you want to play it safe, go for Salah. If not, Kane could be a great differential captain at home to Norwich.

I’m going to think outside the box this gameweek and captain Mo Salah.

Under ordinary circumstances, Son would be the best captaincy shout with a nice home fixture against Norwich but these aren’t ordinary circumstances. While Spurs seem to be on the right track, their attacking prowess looks severely diminished.

Salah on the other hand, looks to be able to score in any number of situations and is being offered plenty of chances by the ruthless Liverpool attack.

It may not be sexy, it may not be fun. But FPL is about doing what is right. And at the moment, putting the armband on Salah is most likely to give you the most points,

Salah all the way. At this point there is really no point in thinking of another. He has only blanked once in GW2 and he has finished goalless only on 2 occasions.

I am going to stand out from the crowd here and although I own Salah, I will not be captaining him. Rather than going with the herd, I am going ‘rogue’ and sticking with Alexander-Arnold yet again.

It has worked out for me in 2 of the last 3 weeks and with the returns potential at both ends of the field against a Wolves side that have scored just 1 goal in their previous 4 games despite favourable fixtures.

It is a risky move, but 1 that could reap great rewards should it come off.

Mo Salah. At the rate he is going the captaincy debate is going to be redundant this season. Already on 146 points, he looks unstoppable. You always captain “the best player in the world”.

You want reliability from your captains. And they don’t get anymore reliable than Salah. Tavares & Digne couldn’t stop him and I don’t see why Ait-Nouri should be any different.

If the unthinkable happens, my VC is Emile Smithy-Rowe. Everton are winless since GW6, with 17 goals (joint 2nd worst) conceded. Expecting Arsenal to rebound strongly.
