UCL Fantasy MD5 Captain
The penultimate matchday of the
UCL Fantasy MD5 Captain – Tuesday
The Polish forward remains the top choice for captaincy on Tuesday – even though Bayern are depleted by injuries.
Dynamo Kiev are struggling in the competition so far and lost 5-0 to Bayern earlier.
With 24 goals from 18 appearances, it certainly looks like he can add more to that tally here.
Depay would be a strong differential captain pick.
The Dutch has been doing ok since joining Barcelona, scoring 7 times and assisting twice in 13 league appearances. He has however, yet to open his accounts in the UCL.
He is on penalty duties and they face a Benfica side knowing that a victory will seal qualification with a game to spare. Won’t that be the perfect antidote for Xavi?
If all else fails, there is Cristiano Ronaldo.
We do not know how Man Utd will line up against Villarreal but Ronaldo will surely be a starter.
He has scored in all of his previous UCL appearances, picking up one Player of the Match award.
You won’t ever be surprised if he pounces late in the game to save United yet again.
UCL Fantasy MD5 Captain – Wednesday
Real take on FC Sheriff, a side they lost shockingly to at home on MD2. They have recovered since and a win here will send Real to the Last 16, with a game to spare.
Benzema has been sensational to date, scoring 14 and providing 8 assists.
He is on penalties and is the club captain.
Nkunku has been enjoying a great UCL campaign, even if his side are now technically eliminated. He already has 5 goals in 4 games and they play Brugge for a possible place in the Europa League.
Statistically, he has been involved in 87.5% of Leipzig’s 8 goals in the UCL campaign so far.
With Liverpool likely to give some key players a rest, Jota may be a good captaincy pick on Wednesday.
Since joining the Reds, he has 19 goals and 3 assist to his name in just 45 appearances.
