5 Favourite FPL Players

Everyone will have their top performing FPL players from their teams to date.

Today I showcase 5 top players whom have done well for me particular this season!

5 Favourite FPL Players

Mohamed Salah (LIV)

The Egyptian King has been a beast this season scoring 10 times and assisting 8 times till now.

In the 11 GWs till now, he’s scored 117 points, the first and only player to be on triple digits so far. He’s been my captain choice for 9 weeks and is surely not going out of my team anytime this season.

He’s currently picked by more than 71% of all managers playing FPL and his price has already risen from £12.5 to £13.0. H

He’s also picked 16 bonus points till now.

Michail Antonio (WHU)

FPL GW02 Stats

Antonio is another player whom I have had in my team season GW1. No one has expected him to do such good before the season began.

He has netted 6 times and also assisted 4 goals in 10 games, scoring 67 points till now.

He’s also a must-pick for good fixtures. He is currently owned by 48% of managers and his price has risen to £8.2.

He did suffer a terrible blip on GW4 when he was sent off and was suspended for GW5. His form did not return to that of the first 3 gameweeks but he has been consistent.

Jamie Vardy (LEI)

The Leicester forward has been doing well this season with 7 goals and an assist in 11 games. He’s scored 60 points in this span of 11 GWs and is the main man for Leicester City.

His current price is £10.8. However, his current form might be a little worrying with 3 blanks in last 3 GWs.

However, that probably would not worry the Leicester management too much and he will continue to start games.

He’s consistently getting in good positions and it’s just one big game which is missing.  He’s also got 12 bonus points till now.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (LIV)

The Liverpool defender has justified his price tag of £7.7 with a goal and 4 assists in just 9 games. He’s also kept 5 clean-sheets and has scored 64 points in total till now, the third highest scoring player in the game.

He’s been taking the free-kicks for Liverpool and scored from one against West Ham. Despite his high price tag, he’s still picked by more than 30% of managers.

He is also a set-and-forget option just like Salah and will surely do well. He has got an xG/90 of 0.11 and a xA/90 of 0.46 with 1.98 Sh/90 which is extremely great as a defender.

Tino Livramento (SOU)

How many of you saw that coming? Well, he’s been that good this season and especially last 3-4 GWs.

Southampton have improved tremendously over the last 4 gameweeks, chalking up 3 clean sheets in the process.

Livramento has started all the games and has also got a goal and an assist. He’s the best attacking option from the Southampton defense and also his low price tag of £4.5 (started at £4.0) will help our teams to structure.

He has collected 48 points till now and we all managers would surely be seeing the next Lundstrum in him! Also, don’t forget to bring him out of your bench :’)
