UCL Fantasy MD3 Captain

Some huge ties this Match Day – potential for some huge hauls!

UCL Fantasy MD3 Captain – Tuesday

Benzema (RMA | 10.0)

UCL Fantasy MD2 Captain

Real Madrid suffered a huge upset on MD2 – perhaps one of the most surprising result ever in UCL, losing at home to FC Sheriff.

That also means that the Spanish giants need a result here against Shakhtar to turn things around.

They enjoyed the weekend off after their La Liga game was postponed and is refreshed for their trip into the Ukraine.

Benzema has been on fire all season, involved in 17 goals in 10 appearances (10G | 7A). He also takes penalties for Real, making him our top Captain pick for MD2.

Haaland (DOR | 11.0)

Top UCL Fantasy Players

Haaland missed MD2 through injury but has since returned to action.

The Norwegian scored twice over the weekend, to add to his tally that now stands at 13 goals and 4 assists in 9 appearances.

Dortmund travels to Ajax, knowing that a win will put them firmly in the driving seat to progress.

Haaland is the type of player who should always be your radar for captaincy.

De Bruyne (MCI | 11.0)

City last last MD at Paris, so will need a result here at Brugge.

De Bruyne returns to his native Belgium in good form, scoring twice in his last 2 games.

UCL Fantasy MD3 Captain – Wednesday

Lewandowski (BAY | 11.6)

Over 11 appearances this season, Lewandowski has failed to score/assist in just 1 of them. His current tally is now 15 goals and 1 assist over 11 appearances.

Bayern is unplayable at the moment, on a 8-0 goal difference after just two UCL games.

They visit Benfica this match day. The Portuguese have yet to concede in the tournament but faces an extreme uphill task.

Lukaku (CHE | 10.5)

TheFanMetric MW4

Lukaku’s impressive return to Chelsea have somewhat fluttered over the last few weeks.

The Belgian has now failed to score in 5 consecutive games in all competitions.

However, the Blues faces minnows FF Malmo this matchday, a perfect hunting ground for Lukaku to get back to scoring form.

A bit of a differential pick for a captain, probably worth in only if you do not have Lewandowski.

Sandro (JUV | 5.6)

Juventus have a relatively straightforward tie against Zenit, having won 6 games in a row across 2 competitions.

No Juventus player particularly stand out in the attacking front – Dybala is injured and their attacking returns are spread well across their other forwards / midfielders.

This make Sandro a good pick for captaincy. His spot is nailed on and he has potential for attacking returns down the left.
