This FPL GW, our resident writer FPL Hunt looks at 5 differentials to have in your team.
FPL GW10 differentials
Kevin De Bryune (MCI) – TSB 4%
The City midfielder was picked by more than 40% managers before the season kicked off.
Due to injuries and fitness issues, he played just 36 minutes over the first 5 gameweeks and experience a hemorrhage of ownership.
Over GW6 to GW9, De Bruyne started three games and returned in 2 of team, with goals against Liverpool and Burnley. He is a key asset to the City attack so if you can afford the odd with in which he is rotated, he is a great choice to have.
He has a xG/90 of 0.45 and a great xA/90 of 0.49 with 3.63 Sh/90.
Marcus Rashford (MUN) – TSB 0.5%
An injury over the summer meant that Rashford’ season only recently began, returning to action on GW9.
He has since played well in the 3 games with a goal against Leicester in the Premier League and a goal against Atlanta in UCL.
United’s fixtures from GW14 to GW22 look comfortable, Rashford is certainly worth being on any radar.
His xG/90 is 0.41 and an xA/90 of 0.23 with 4.02 Sh/90.
Bryan Mbeumo (BRE) – TSB 4.2%
The Brentford midfielder is one of the OOP player this season, he is effectively a forward partnering Ivan Toney.
He has been a lot unlucky not to get much goal involvements, hitting the woodwork 8 times till now (the most). However, he’ll surely be a great differential because his luck will surely turn at some time.
His xG (3.25) is the highest for Brentford and has already scored twice.
He is currently flagged for a injury so worth monitoring after the international break.
He’s got an xG/90 of 0.45 and a xA/90 of 0.09 with 3.25 Sh/90.
Aubameyang (ARS) – TSB 4.7%
Arsenal didn’t started off the season really well with some losses in a row but Aubameyang’s return has changed the tides since then.
With 4 goals and an assist, he leads Arsenal’s attacking stats, despite fewer minutes. He is also the penalty-taker for Arsenal.
Arsenal visits Liverpool on GW12, a venue where they traditionally suffer but that game is sandwiched by home games against Watford and Newcastle.
He has a xG/90 of 0.72 and an xA/90 of 0.23 with 3.22 Sh/90.
Roberto Firmino (LIV) – TSB 4.9% / Sadio Mane – TSB 3.6%
When it comes to Liverpool, naturally all the talk has been about Mo Salah and his sensational form. However, if you decide to triple up on Liverpool assets, Salah’s partners-in-crime are worth considering as differentials.
Firmino endured a show start to the season but has since started the last 2 games. He has already scored a hattrick on GW8 at Watford. In UCL, he scored twice against Atletico Madrid.
While he is a great team player, his FPL contributions are often in patches. However, if picked on the right gameweeks, he has the potential to explode.
Mane already 5 goals and 1 assist, and is the third highest scoring FPL player for Liverpool. His price is high, but definitely worth the punt over the next few gameweeks when Liverpool have home games against Brighton, Arsenal and Southampton.
