Salah (MID | 12.5) loves playing against Palace so I’m backing him to haul again against the Eagles at Anfield this weekend.

6 goals and 5 assists in 9 games against Crystal Palace, Mo Salah (MID | 12.5) is my captain of this week. Liverpool at home have the best xG of all teams and I expect this to be a convincing win.

A differential pick would be Alexander-Arnold (DEF | 7.5).

He has 3 Clean sheets and 2 assists and 8 bonus points in his first 4 matches this season. He gives you potential returns at both ends of the field against a Palace side who failed to score in their first 2 matches of season and did not score past spurs until they were down to 10 men last week.

The Liverpool attack has started strong this season. Top for shots and xG, playing at home (unlike Chelsea or Man United), and with a week’s rest after this game, I’ll happily go along with Mo Salah (MID | 12.5) .

Mo Salah (MID | 12.5) against Crystal Palace at home looks really juicy!

He was a lot unlucky not to get some more goal involvements last GW but will look forward against one of his favorite teams – Palace. Salah xG and xA are never a matter of concern and the most important point will be that he will be getting a home support at Anfield!

I am going with Mr Consistent, Mo Salah (MID | 12.5). With a nice game against Crystal Palace you can usually rely on Mo to deliver the goods. Remember last season when he came on against Palace as a sub? Well, imagine what he could do with 90 minutes.

If you fancy going differential this week, then I don’t think Trent Alexander-Arnold (DEF | 7.5) is a bad shout.

I won’t make my captaincy too complicated this week, so Salah (MID | 12.5).it is.

He managed to score in the Champions League, and with Jota rested, the chances for attacking returns increases should they start together. He did miss a penalty, but I expect that to just be a blip. He should stay on pens.

Hot favourite for Captaincy will no doubt be Mo Salah, given his form and record against Palace.

However, my armband will go to Trent Alexander-Arnold (DEF | 7.5) instead. A clean sheet is very likely for Liverpool, so that is a baseline of 6pts for the defender. He tops all creativity matrices and we can expect some attacking returns to add to that baseline.

Last week i said Harry Kane because I was looking for a differential and it didn’t work.

This week I’m going back to the obvious and popular choice. Mo Salah (MID | 12.5) it is for me.

Anfield is a fortress as we’ve seen in the midweek comeback against Ac milan and with crystal palace visiting, they are gonna be deafened by the sound.

Although, chances might be difficult to come by for Salah as Palace will definitely park the bus, he only needs one chance unlike his colleague, mane.

Jota could also be a good option but with Salah on penalty duties, it most definitely has to be him.

Captaincy for me is Salah (MID | 12.5). Why overthink!

The captaincy choice this week is between Ronaldo (FWD | 12.5)  and Salah (MID | 12.5) for me.

I’m personally torn between the two premiums and will pull the trigger right on the deadline. Ronaldo is a talisman that is in a rich vein of form and would be looking to make a statement against West Ham, after the loss against Young Boys in midweek.

On the other hand, Liverpool have a great scoring history against Crystal Palace with 2 goals or more in the last 5 games. Salah has scored 6 times against the Eagles and is the logical and in-form choice for Captain this week. While I have a gut feeling for Ronaldo, I would recommend Salah as the safe pick to Captain this week.

Alexander-Arnold (DEF | 7.5) will be my choice this GW. He’s been flying under the radar as a captaincy option even when he’s been the most creative force in the league. Top for big chances created and crossed and will host a side that is likely to sit back and make the best of counterattacks.
It may be too early for risking the coating selection, but it’s one of those GWs one can be aggressive.
