FPL GW36 Differentials

It’s really good to be back after a few difficult weeks for myself personally with a family bereavement, so this is a welcome distraction.

I’m writing this ahead of the Villa/Everton and Man United/Liverpool fixtures. But with the deadline approaching rapidly ahead of tomorrow’s game, let’s look at some differentials to help give some guidance in this hectic week.

FPL GW36 Differentials #1 – Sadio Mane £11.7m

5.5% owned
Next fixture WBA (a)

Liverpool play the worst defensive team in the league who will be feeling low after their relegation was confirmed with the defeat at Arsenal. A below par WBA facing Liverpool chasing for fourth place has potential for high returns for a number of assets.

One being Sadio Mane. 2 goals in his last 3, he is starting to show signs of form that Liverpool will need in the last few games.

No team has conceded more chance on their right flank than WBA. As seen with the heat map below Sadio Mane’s positioning is going to be a threat and he will be to hot handle for WBA.

FPL GW36 Differentials #2 – John Stones £5.1m

9.8% owned
Next game Newcastle (a)

Now I’ve read a lot about Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden being great differential options this week and I agree but I want to give an alternative for people who are looking to remove non players such as Alonso, Rudiger or Shaw.

John Stones is the 3rd highest scoring defender in the game. He has gone under the radar with being suspended. But now available, he faces a Newcastle team who are the second worst at conceding headed chances. Add to this, the season ending injury to Callum Wilson and Stones has potential for gains at both ends of the pitch.

FPL GW36 Differentials #3 – Michail Antonio £6.4m

FPL GW23 Wildcard

5.8% owned
Next game Brighton (a)

Surely a must for those who are chasing. A brace against Burnley followed by a disappointing loss to Everton, West Ham know they need to win this if they are to have chance of making the top four. Michail Antonio faces a Brighton side with nothing to play for.

No Lewis Dunk and with Joel Veltman highly likely to miss out as well, they will struggle to handle someone powerful and quick as we saw against Adama Traore in their last match.
