Kane is the safe and obvious choice but this week I’ll be giving the armband to in-form Iheanacho (6.2) against an out-of-sorts Southampton.

For me it is Harry Kane (11.8). Top of both the Goal and Assists charts for the season and playing an already relegated Sheffield United next. Also feel that Spurs will be out to avenge their League Cup Final defeat and also put to bed the European Super League debacle.

Harry Kane (11.8) by a mile. Picking a captain who’s playing against Sheffield United has always been the best option. The already relegated team is shipping in goals for free and it’s a no brained that Harry Kane is going to try to grab as many as he can to cement his place at the top of the Golden boot standings.

Kane (11.8) It is a no-brainer based on form, fixture, effective ownership, Golden Boot race, and a potential season-end transfer away from Spurs.

Hard to go against Kane (11.8) this week for captaincy. Sheffield United are ranked last for xGC since GW20. Bottom of the table, and with Spurs looking to bounce back post the EFL Cup Final defeat plus Kane’s overwhelming ownership, Kane feels the safe and sensible, if slightly boring pick this week.

Kane (11.8) wants to win the Golden Boot. On top of that he may be angling a transfer move, so he is expected to keep on performing at the highest level. Sheffield United have nothing to play for. Spurs are clear favourites and are expected to win convincingly.

Having gone against the grain for the last couple of weeks I’m firmly back on the community captain favourite this week, Kane (11.8). He’s making the right noises and let’s face it, Sheff Utd are so bad!.

If I owned Kane, I would put the armband on him. As it happens I took a punt on Jamie Vardy last week and will be rolling the free transfer this week. This means the armband goes on Kelechi Iheanacho (6.2), whose current form requires no introduction.
With Sheffield United relegated, it is easy to get drawn to Spurs assets as having the easier fixture, however, if we look at the stats, Southampton have conceded more goals (and roughly the same number of Big Chances) than Sheffield United, in the last four gameweeks, despite having played one less game.
Sheffield United actually have a clean sheet in that period, whereas Southampton do not. On that basis, I believe Southampton could be the better fixture to target.

Kane will be heavily favoured this week but if you do not have him in the team OR want to go for a differential, Iheanacho (6.2) is the man. The Nigerian has the highest xG in the last 5 games and has scored 9 goals in his last 7 games, blanking only once.
Leicester are going all out to secure the top 4 finish, playing against a very average Southampton side.

After seeing Salah close in on him in the race for the golden boot, Kane (11.8) will be more than motivated to score against Sheffield united.
I can see him easily scoring a brace, and would not be one bit surprised if he gets a hat trick against the already relegated side.
