Togga Perfect XI | PXI – GW36 picks

We are at the home stretch of the season and this week is an interesting one for fantasy football managers as 3 teams are having double games. Without a doubt, players having double games are very favourable as they have 180 minutes to score points. However, we will have to take into account fatigue and squad rotation in our selection. Our strategy this week is pretty simple – to fill the squad with players playing double games and only the best performing players in terms of PPM if they are on single match. Here’s our analysis of the 3 teams having double game week.

Manchester United

Most will be tempted to fill their squad with Man United players since a good team playing 2 games is very favourable. However, we have to note that one of the match is a difficult derby game and Jose Mourinho is very fond of rotating especially with mid-week Europa fixtures. Man United should secure a victory at Burnley and we fancy them to keep City at bay in the derby. With the second best defensive record in the league, we recommend taking Rojo, Bailly and De Gea as they are almost guaranteed to start both games. In midfield, we fancy Pogba to participate in both games and secure some decent points. In attack, our daring pick will be Rashford. His recent form is making him undroppable.

They are on the brink of relegation and I struggled to remember picking any Boro players in the PXI previously. However, they have 2 very playable games vs fellow struggler Sunderland and Bournemouth. Their defence this season is not too bad but their Achilles’ heel is their extremely blunt attack. Therefore we only fancy picking players from their defence. Valdes, Barragan and Gibson should make the squad.

Crystal Palace

Palace’s situation is quite the opposite of Boro. They have 2 relatively tough games versus Liverpool and Spurs. We advise against taking any Palace defensive players as they look very likely to concede in both games. However, Palace’s attacking form is pretty hot and we fancy these 3 attacking players to play both games and score some decent points – Benteke, Zaha and Townsend.

In other games, we think Chelsea will bounce back spectacularly after their loss against Man United last week. Arsenal should do well in attack at home against Leicester. Lastly, there is a high chance Bournemouth might tear Boro apart at home if King continues his spectacular goal scoring form.
