Recap of Gameweek 7

Gameweek 7 saw 5 teams with a clean sheet and 29 goals scored.

Among the surprises were the benching of Aguero (MCI, 12.2m), who still managed an assist in 24 mins played. However, he played almost the whole match in the Champions League and his Fantasy managers will be sweating to see if he makes the starting line-up against Wolves at home.

Abraham (CHE, 7.6m) was a player transferred by many managers, with some also giving him the arm band. But despite 2 very good chance to score, he blanked and disappointed. Chelsea still have very good fixtures coming up (@SOU, NEW, @BUR, @WAT, PAL, @MCI) and patience is probably needed to stick with him.

Another popular captain, Salah (LIV, 12.5m) also blanked and face high-flying Leicester next. The next 4 fixtures also look tricky (@MUN, TOT, @AST, MCI), with the big one at home to Manchester City in Gameweek 12. Liverpool does blow hot and cold at times in terms of attacking play, but their goals seem to be concentrated among Salah, Mane, Firmino and good attacking returns from Robertson and TAA. I guess if you have Salah you will keep him, but if you don’t have, there is no urgent need to transfer him in.

Incredibly, alongside Aguero (MCI, 12.2m), Aubameyang (ARS, 11.0m) and Callum Wilson (BOU, 7.9m) has kept up with either assisting or scoring in the first 7 gameweeks. Here are the fixtures of Arsenal (BOU, @SHU, PAL, WOL, @LEI, SOU) and Bournemouth (@ARS, NOR, @WAT, MUN, @NEW, WOL).
