Here are 5 talking points ahead of Gameweek 11.
Manchester United play away at Bournemouth in the first match of Gameweek 11. Is it time to get Martial (MUN, 7.6m, TSB 4.6%) and/or Rashford (MUN, 8.4m, TSB 11.7%)?
If you have a slot in midfield or attack available, getting them will undoubtedly be a differential play given their low ownership. Their next 4 games (@BOU, BHA, @SHU, AST) also look decent enough.
What to do with Aubameyang (ARS, 11.1m, TSB 27.9%) if you owned him?
He has a home game against Wolves, who has often played well against the Top 6 sides. At 11.1m, he is expensive and Lacazette’s (ARS, 9.3m, TSB 1.6%) return has also shifted him to the left wing, where he is less effective. Arsenal form is also poor recently. Therefore, if you don’t have any of these premium options – Salah (LIV, 12.4m, TSB 29.2%), Sterling (MCI, 12.1m, TSB 38.9%), Mane (LIV, 11.9m, TSB 30.8%), De Bruyne (MCI, 10.2m, TSB 39.2%), Kane (TOT, 10.8m, TSB 16.6%), maybe it is worthwhile to make the switch with your free transfer or take a -4.
Is Connolly (BHA, 4.6m, TSB 2.8%) a good budget option?
If you are still holding onto Greenwood (MUN, 4.3m, TSB 11.0%), Connolly is a very budget friendly option for you to consider. He has scored 22 points in his last 3 games with 2 goals and 2 assists. This gameweek, Brighton also host Norwich, who is so bad defensively that they are probably going to concede the most goals this season. A word of caution though as Brighton upcoming fixtures look tough (NOR, @MUN, LEI, @LIV, @ARS) and you might need to have other options in your squad to take his place in the starting 11 if needed.
Which Leicester players are must haves?
Vardy (9.3m, TSB 21.6%) is the pick of the bunch, who is also on penalty duties. A defensive option (Pereira – 6.3m – TSB 13.6%, Chilwell – 5.5m – TSB 8.0, Soyuncu – 4.7m – TSB 8.2m, Schmeichel – 5.1m – TSB 9.0%) is also a must have, given that Leicester has been very good defensively. The 3rd spot is probably a more tricky one, where Maddison (7.3m, TSB 15.0%), Tielemans (6.5m – TSB 6.3m%), or one of the earlier defensive options listed earlier would all be good choices depending on your gut feel and the structure of your current team.
The most important question – Who to captain?
Sterling (MCI, 12.1m, TSB 38.9%) and De Bruyne (MCI, 10.2m, TSB 39.2%) will probably fight it out to be the most popular captain. I think Sterling will edge De Bruyne this gameweek, but if you feel adventurous enough, go for De Bruyne and maybe fortune will favour the brave. Other differential options will include an in-form Vardy (LEI, 9.3m, TSB 21.6%) or Mount (CHE, 6.9m, TSB 37.4%) / Abraham (CHE, 7.8m, TSB 46.0%) where Chelsea visit winless Watford.
