Game Week 31 Fantasy Picks

Note: We return to a full set of fixtures this week with games that are pivotal to the title challenge and relegation fight.

201516 Wk 31 fixtures

  • Lloris, Hugo (TOT) – TOT looked solid against AST last gameweek and he should fancy his chances for a clean sheet.
  • Fabianski, Lukasz (SWA) – AST is just going through the motions and SWA has a great chance to confirm another season in the top flight.
  • Forster, Ben (WBA) – NOR may play it defensively again to get precious away points and this should benefit Foster.
  • Elliot, Robert (NEW) – Benitez has lifted the spirits at NEW and he would want to keep things tight at the back.
  • Alderweireld, Toby (TOT) – The one defender who is likely to start for TOT. You may also want to choose the TOT fullbacks once the confirmed lineup is available.
  • Williams, Ashley (SWA) – Against the sorry AST, he has the chance to score both offensive and defensive points.
  • Taylor, Neil (SWA) – He was going forward well to support in his last game against BOU and I expect him to do so again.
  • Janmaat, Daryl (NEW) –Benitez’s appointment should see a better organized defence and he always like to go forward to join in the attack.
  • McAuley, Gareth (WBA) – WBA defenders always have a chance to score via set piece and he could prove to be a great alternative pick.
  • Wijnaldum, Georginio (NEW) – He loves to score at home though there has not been much attacking output in the last couple of months.
  • Payet, Dimitri (WHU) – CHE has nothing much to play for and he could take advantage with his excellent set pieces.
  • Alli, Dele (TOT) – Continues to do well in his role behind Kane, he should find chances against a BOU that also plays open, attacking football.
  • Sigurdsson, Gylfi (SWA) – 7 goals in his last 11 games, his confidence must be sky high and feeling that he can score once he is on the pitch.
  • Silva, David (MCI) – MCI needs him to be at his best, and he could do well against a MUN side deflated by the loss to LIV in the Europa League.
  • Eriksen, Christian (TOT) – Terrible return of points against AST but he is such a consistent performer that I would not rule him out.
  • Leroy, Fer (SWA) – He looked energetic and is the type of player that likes to get into the box to score goals.
  • Vardy, Jamie (LEI) – He delivered decent points despite only providing an assist in the game against NEW.
  • Kane, Harry (TOT) – After his double against AST, he is now the joint-top scorer. Should have a goal in him against BOU.
  • Lukaku, Romelu (EVE) – He has been on fire lately and will look to pile on the misery on an ARS side that has crashed out of 2 cup competitions within a week.
  • Berahino, Saido (WBA) – Was considering between him and Salomon Rondon but he should be a better choice since he is likely to be on penalty duties.
