Goalkeeper
  • Butland, Jack (STK) – Form over the last few weeks hasn’t been good but against an Aston Villa side who has scored only 10 goals away from home and missing Jordan Ayew.
  • Lloris, Hugo (TOT) – The best defence in the league and at home to Swansea.
Alternatively,
  • Gomes, Heurelho (WAT) – Watford has been solid throughout the season and I won’t be surprised if Gomes keeps a clean sheet together with a few saves against an offensive Bournemouth.
 Defenders
  • Huth, Robert (LEI) – Against a Norwich side that is low in confidence conceding 2 goals after being 2-nil up.
  • Fuchs, Christian (LEI) – Same as Huth and on set piece duties.
  • Alderweireld, Toby (TOT)– The only constant not subjected to the rotation for the best defence in the league.
  • Pieters, Erik (STK) – my pick for the defender against a woeful Aston Villa side.
  • Cresswell, Aaron (WHU) – one of the best left back with an attacking threat against one of the bottom 3 clubs.
Alternatively,
  • Cathcart, Craig (WAT) – Same as Gomes.
Midfielders
  • Payet, Dimitri (WHU) – The best crosser of the ball in the league and goals in his last 2 games, Payet can deliver both assists and goals.
  • Alli, Dele (TOT) – A willing runner into the box who always look to score goals.
  • Eriksen, Christian (TOT) – Slightly outshone by his teammate Alli, Eriksen has been delivering the points in recent weeks.
  • Mahrez, Riyad (LEI) – The Algerian ‘Messi’ looks to have re-discovered his form after missing 2 penalties this season.
  • Shaqiri, Xherdan (STK)– Beginning to get used to the pace of the league. A game against aston villa could be another chance to score big.
Alternatively,
  • Khazri, Wahbi (SUN) – With 1 goal and 2 assists in his last 2 games, he could continue his good form despite being away from home.
Strikers
  • Vardy, Jamie (LEI) – Leading scorer with 19 goals and with penalty duties now, he could score big against the joint leakiest defence in the league
  • Kane, Harry (TOT) – Just 3 goals behind vardy and penalty duties, kane is another must-have
  • Deeney, Troy (WAT) – 2 goals and 1 assist in his last 4 games, he could profit against a side with the most goals conceded outside of the bottom 4
Alternatively,
  • Walters, Jonathan (STK) – Back in favour, he always seem to do well against the lesser sides like Villa
