Fantasy Premier League | GW31 (Free-hit)

With only 8 teams playing in GW31, we have put together a Free Hit squad for you to consider. Here are our recommendations with Begovic, Rondon, Schindler, Bauer on the sub bench.

  • Bournemouth VS WBA
  • Huddersfield VS Crystal Palace
  • Stoke VS Everton
  • Liverpool VS Watford

  1. Butland, Jack (STK, 5.0m, TSB 3.0%) – Stoke has improved defensively and he may get save points even if there is no clean sheet.
  2. Begovic, Asmir (BOU, 4.5m, TSB 4.8%) – Purely a back up and West Brom is destined for relegation.

  1. Baines, Leighton (EVE, 5.6m, TSB 4.2%) – Baines helped EVE to a clean sheet and he has an attacking threat to his play.
  2. Ake, Nathan (BOU, 5.1m, TSB 8.0%) – Among the BOU defenders, we like him for his goal threat just ahead of Adam Smith.
  3. Coleman, Seamus (EVE, 6.4m, TSB 0.9%) – We just cannot decide whether he will get more points than Baines, so we are getting them both.
  4. Schindler, Christopher (HUD, 4.7m, TSB 4.7%) – Decent back-up and gets bonus points when he keeps a clean sheet.
  5. Bauer, Moritz (STK, 4.5m, TSB 0.8%) – Likes to bomb forward from right back.

  1. Salah, Mohamed (LIV, 10.6m, TSB 61.3%) – No brainer here with him given the captain’s armband as well.
  2. Zaha, Wilfried (PAL, 6.8m, TSB 4.9%) – The creative spark that PAL needs if they were to avoid relegation.
  3. Stanislas, Junior (BOU, 5.9m, TSB 1.3%) – He looked lively against TOT and could punish the worse side in the league.
  4. Mane, Sadio (LIV, 9.4m, TSB 10.6%) – By choosing him, we forego a LIV defender. He has produced attacking returns in his last 3 games.
  5. Shaqiri, Xherdan (STK, 6.3m, TSB 14.2%) – A class act for STK if they are to get anything out of this game.

  1. Firmino, Roberto (LIV, 9.5m, TSB 44.0%) – The forward with the 3rd highest points tally behind Kane and Aguero.
  2. Tosun, Cenk (EVE, 6.7m, TSB 1.5%) – Started the last 2 games with 2 goals scored.
  3. Rondon, Salomon (WBA, 6.0m, TSB 0.9%) – A lack of viable options meant he gets the nod as he is likely to start. Will be on the bench in case any of the other 7 attacking players get left out.
