Preview of FPL Gameweek 12

All eyes would be on the Liverpool – Man City match on Sunday but this week we preview all the games and present the key stats and trends.

  • These two teams have absolutely dominated the Premier League since the start of last season; collectively they have only dropped 42 points out of the last possible 294.
  • Liverpool last lost at home in Apr 2017. 45 games ago
  • Liverpool have lost once in the league in 2019, on 3rd Jan against Man City
  • For managers Pep Guardiola has faced more than 10 times, Jurgen Klopp is the only one with a winning record against him
  • Man City have played Liverpool 22 times at Anfield in the Premier League and they had only won there once (D6 L15)

  • Norwich have conceded 26 goals, the second worst in the league
  • The Canaries have gained just 1 point since beating Man City on GW05
  • Teemu Pukki is now 6 games without a goal or assist; his teammate Todd Cantwell has the exact same record

  • Chelsea have beaten Palace in their previous three meetings
  • Chelsea is the most on-form team in the league, winning their last 5
  • The Blues have only lost once at home this calendar year (v Liverpool)
  • Only two teams have fewer goals than Palace’s 10
  • Tammy Abraham is currently FPL’s fourth highest points scorer
  • Abraham’s goals have mostly come away from the Bridge (7 of 9)
  • Kepa has 26 FPL points to date, the lowest amongst all the goalkeepers who have played every game

  • Both teams are in poor form – Burnley have lost their last three whilst West Ham have yet to win in 5
  • Only teams in the bottom three have conceded more than Burnley’s 18
  • West Ham have not won a league game outside London in 2019
  • Chris Wood has 5 goals against West Ham, more than against any other club he has faced in the Premier League
  • Only Issa Diop and Declan Rice have played every minute of every game for the Hammers

  • Bournemouth have only lost once in their previous 7 games

  • Leicester have beaten Arsenal in their previous two league meetings at the King Power
  • The Foxes have won their last four home league games
  • Jamie Vardy is the current top scorer in the Premier League (10) and is also the current top scoring FPL player (80)
  • Vardy has 8 Premier League goals against Arsenal, more than against any other club he had faced
  • PE Aubameyang had 7 goals in his first 7 games but only 1 in his previous 4 games
  • Bernd Leno has the most saves in the league (44) but has only kept 2 clean sheets

#MNUBHA

  • Manchester United have beaten Brighton five times out of Brighton’s previous five visits
  • No United defender have scored or provided an assist so far this season
  • United have only kept 3 clean sheets in their previous 18 league games in Old Trafford
  • Brighton have won 3 of their previous 4 league games, this form is only bettered by two teams (Chelsea | Liverpool) over the same period
  • Neal Maupay has taken 36 shots this season, the second most in the league (4 goals)

  • Wolves have never beaten Aston Villa at home in the Premier League (Played 4)

  • Wolves have only lost twice at home in the league in 2019
