FPL – GW07 Preview

PE Aubameyang

League leaders travel again on GW07 to Sheffield United while City visits the Blue half of Merseyside. United entertain a resurgent Arsenal side at Old Trafford.


Sheffield United V Liverpool

  • Liverpool are on a 15-win run, the second longest in Premier League history
  • Despite conceding the least number of goals in Premier League (5), the Reds have only made 1 Clean sheet so far
  • The Blades’ 7 goals have been scored by 7 different players (2 of which are own goals!)
  • Roberto Firminio (FWD | 9.5) is the 3rd highest scoring forward in FPL
  • Mo Salah (MID | 12.5) and Sadio Mane (MID | 11.6) are the 2nd and 3rd highest scoring midfielders
  • John Lundstram (DEF | 4.4) is currently the highest scoring FPL defender
  • David McGoldrick (FWD | 5.5) has missed 6 big changes (1st in the league) and has no goal involvements to date

Everton V Manchester City

  • Everton have beaten City once in their last 12 meetings
  • Manager Marco Silva has started with the same GK and back four for their last 6 Premier League games
  • Everton’s tally of 5 goals is the 2nd lowest in the league
  • Sergio Aguero (FWD | 12.2) has 2 goals in 10 games against Everton, his lowest tally against any Premier League side whom he has played against more than five times
  • Raheem Sterling (MID | 12.1) has blanked in his previous three GWs – he has not blanked for four GWs in a row since Mar 2017

Chelsea V Brighton

  • Southampton’s four wins in all competitions had all come away from home
